A Walk in the Woods

The famous writer, Bill Bryson (Robert Redford), or the thought of a quiet retirement. In spite of the family and a beautiful wife (Emma Thompson) decides to go on a trip of a lifetime. He intends to travel on foot Appalachian Trail - numbering 2,200 miles, scenic route linking the states of Georgia and Maine. Unable to find other comrades, Bryson takes a trip long-lost friend Katz (Nick Nolte), a notorious womanizer, for the expedition is a way to escape his creditors. On the trail soon becomes clear that for each of the travelers word "adventure" has a quite different meaning. And the farther into the forest, it gets funnier!
